The Australian Jewish Funders (AJF) is a forum for its donor members to enhance the understanding and quality of philanthropy in the Australian Jewish community, Israel and the wider Australian society.

AJF does not accept submissions from Grant Seekers.

Members create and share opportunities for critical enquiry, discussion, resource building, networking and collaboration to strengthen the foundations of their philanthropy and to maximise the impact of their efforts.

We aim not only to increase the value of our own philanthropy, but also to help others to make best use of philanthropy in their personal, professional and community lives.

We also encourage and assist young people to enhance their understanding of philanthropy and to play an active part in the development of philanthropy for the society of the future..

"JEWISH GIVING OR GIVING JEWISH?"

THURSDAY 19TH AUGUST
9.15am - 3.00pm

The theme of the conference is to examine the proposition of how Jewish donors give. Our speakers will look at the breadth of Jewish giving from those that give only to Jewish causes to those that give to a broad range of causes within both the Jewish and the wider community.

As the sage Hillel said 'If I am not for myself who will be? And if I am only for myself, what am I?'

A great opportunity to meet other members, learn how others give and why. There will be lots of opportunity to discuss these issues.

More details and speakers and 'games' as they come to hand. You are welcome to invite family, friends and colleagues but remember this is for grant makers only. No grant seekers please.
